Hope everyone has a sunny Monday!

I know you're not supposed to be happy on Mondays, but it's spring vacation week for Jacob and I'm feel pretty excited just because I don't have to rush out the door to get him to school at all this week.  Who knew that was stressing me out so much??   And it looks like it's going to be sunny today after a pretty rainy weekend.  And it's the Boston Marathon today and I had a great run yesterday, so I can pretend that I could be out there amongst the throngs of runners someday.  So, I'm feeling cheery today...Happy Monday ladies!

Carrot (-What!-) Cake Pancakes

I know what I'm making for breakfast for my boys next weekend. These. Carrot Cake Pancakes...don't they look delightful? I'd make them today but I've got no carrots and no syrup...and yes of course the cinnamon cream cheese frosting must be smothered in syrup. It's imperative. So they'll have to wait till next weekend...but I've got all week to dream about them (and the half marathon I'll have to run to burn them off...but that's O.K. It'll give a little extra meaning to my exercise) : )

You might find it weird (since I'm married and have been for almost 10 years), but I love to read this wedding blog, style me pretty. The weddings they feature are so inspiring and heart warming...it just makes me happy to browse around them. ; ) I don't usually share my weirdness, but this wedding is amazing. It's really super cute, but the best part is reading the back story. Maybe it's because I LOVE a good sale/deal/steal, but I just find it so cool all the ways the bride cut corners and involved her friends and family in different aspects of her wedding so that she could stick to her budget of - wait - $2000.

Really.

And it still came out absolutely beautiful! Love it.
